Swigg Vitaquench | Drink Powder Launch

These videos were a fun challenge to produce and cut! Over the course of three very full studio days, I created multiple tabletop sets with real water inside transparent acrylic trays and a curve-corner aquarium, as well as spinning and stationary rigs on seamless paper. To complete the set dressings, I used handcrafted artificial ice cubes, vibrant fresh fruit, driftwood to cover seams & fill out the frame, as well as palm fronds to create atmospheric shadows. I created the “Swigg-vortex” shot by rapidly swirling a 5 gallon mixture of Swigg and then tossing in fruit and ice while capturing from above at a high frame rate. Many takes were necessary to achieve a satisfying action in slow motion for these splashing and dropping shots. Many of the frames in the final videos consist of 2, 3, or even 4 clips stitched together to achieve what was laid out in the pitch and storyboard. I was also delighted to use stop motion animation and practical effects with fishing line to pull off some of the sequences.
